1. Fee Regulations

Fee Structure

• The college fees are prescribed by the management and are subject to periodic review. The current fee structure will be detailed in the college prospectus and on the official website.
• Fees are categorized into tuition fees, library fees, laboratory fees, and other charges as applicable.

Payment Schedule

• Fees are to be paid at the beginning of each semester as per the schedule provided by the college.
• Late payment of fees will incur a penalty as detailed in the fee structure.

Refund Policy

Fees once paid are non-refundable, except in cases of withdrawal or cancellation of admission before the start of the academic session. Refund requests should be submitted as per the college's refund policy.

Financial Aid

Students requiring financial assistance should apply for scholarships or fee waivers as per the guidelines available in the college’s financial aid office.

2. Anti-Ragging Policy

Definition and Scope:

Ragging is defined as any act of physical or psychological harassment perpetrated by seniors or peers on newcomers. This includes verbal abuse, physical assault, and forcing newcomers to perform humiliating tasks.

Prohibition

Ragging is strictly prohibited within the college premises and during any college-related activities. The college adheres to the Anti-Ragging Act and related legal provisions.

Reporting Mechanism

Any student who is subjected to ragging or witnesses ragging is encouraged to report the incident immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee or to any college authority.
Complaints can be filed confidentially, and retaliation against complainants will not be tolerated.

Disciplinary Action

The college will conduct a thorough investigation of all ragging complaints. Penalties for those found guilty may include suspension, expulsion, or legal action as per the severity of the incident.

3. Discipline Policy

Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain decorum and respect towards faculty, staff, and peers. Any behavior deemed disruptive or harmful to the academic environment will be subject to disciplinary action.

Attendance

Students are required to maintain a minimum attendance percentage as specified by the college regulations. Excessive absenteeism without valid reasons may lead to penalties or academic consequences.

Academic Integrity

Academic dishonesty, including cheating, plagiarism, and falsification of documents, is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disciplinary measures, including possible expulsion.

Use of College Property

Students must respect and take care of college property. Any damage or misuse of property will lead to financial liability and disciplinary action.

Dress Code

A specified dress code must be adhered to, as detailed in the college guidelines. Students are expected to dress in a manner that is appropriate for the academic setting.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

The possession, use, or distribution of drugs and alcohol is prohibited on campus. Violations will result in severe disciplinary action, including possible expulsion.

Hostels

Hostel residents must follow the hostel rules regarding visitor policies, and conduct. Violations may result in eviction from the hostel and other disciplinary actions.

Complaints and Appeals

Students have the right to appeal against disciplinary decisions. Appeals should be made in writing to the Disciplinary Committee within a specified time frame.

4. General Provisions

Amendments

The college reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations as necessary. Students will be notified of any changes through official channels.

Compliance

By enrolling in the college, students agree to abide by these rules and regulations. Ignorance of the rules is not accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
